New for 2026: Soft Play and Giant Sandpit

Our brand new soft play at Old Down Country Park in Bristol is now open! Offering a fantastic new indoor activity for children and families, our soft play is packed with climbing frames, interactive play features and exciting slides, with plenty to explore, climb and discover.
Little ones can let their imaginations run wild in our dedicated toddler soft play area, while older children can enjoy the main play area designed for bigger adventures. With toilets conveniently located inside and delicious food and drinks available to order from our café, our soft play is a great choice for family days out in Bristol and things to do with kids.

Dig, build & play in our giant sandpit
Head outside to discover our giant covered outdoor sandpit, the perfect place for little builders and explorers to get stuck in!
With digger toys, spades and plenty of sand toys, children can dig, scoop, build and create their own sandy adventures. The covered design means families can enjoy the sandpit whatever the weather, making it a great year-round family activity in Bristol.

Even better, soft play is included in your Country Park entry price, making it a fantastic addition to your family day out.
Soft play sessions must be pre-booked and each session lasts 50 minutes.
Soft Play Booking Information
- Soft play is included with Country Park entry, but a soft play ticket must be booked in advance.
- Soft play tickets are only valid when accompanied by a Child General Park Entry ticket or valid membership.
- Adults do not need to book a soft play ticket.
- Children must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
- Please select your visit date and preferred soft play session time when booking.
- You can amend your visit date or session time through your DigiTickets account.
Important Information
UNDER 2s
Children under 2 years old receive free admission to the Country Park, but will still need a free soft play ticket if they are using the soft play.
If you are visiting with an under 2, select our Adult & Under 2 General Park Entry option. This is charged at the adult ticket price, with admission for the under 2 included free of charge.
MEMBERS
Soft play is included in your membership!
Members simply need to book a free soft play ticket online before their visit. Log into your DigiTickets Members Portal, select the adult or child entry option, and add your free soft play tickets to your booking.
